Minecraft, love it or hate it?

So whats your opinion? you love it or hate and and give a reason why...

In my opinion i love it!

Don't care about it, cool to see what others did, but I'd rather experience a game than waste tenths of hours to create an experience to enjoy.

Its not bad, better then I expected.

I do think Terraria is 10000 times better and more enjoyable though.

My first time playing Minecraft was last Friday during our Community Game Night, and I have to say it was alot of fun. Even though I was lost 98% of the time and would have likely drowned in a lake if Sophia hadn't summoned me for the group photo. I'm looking forward to our second Minecraft night so I can get my build on.

I've been heavily restraining myself from Minecraft. A creative mind like mine belongs nowhere near its vicinity. I'd love to try it but I'm afraid I'll sink countless hours into while losing every aspect of my social life. No, there is no self-control in this scenario.Elann2008

I think its great with a few friends, on par with Terraria.

Fun game, can't wait for the next major update! I guess you could say I love it but I really just enjoy playing it.

I hated it for the longest time because it seemed like it was all anyone was talking about and I didnt see the appeal in it. It looked awful and just didn't seem like much fun. Once I tried it though I got fully engulfed.

EDIT: Having played terraria for the first time today I'm not entirely sure what's the point of it is. Could someone by any chance explain it to me breifly or something? :oops:

See this is what i dont understand..Most people cry about graphics on this web site..Im not saying every one including myself..I come from that erra where there where just blocks that look like buildings..The game kind of reminds me of the original everquest..So as you can see graphics dont bother me..Its what im not understanding though..Its ok for this game to be about 10-15 years ago in art work..No one complains about it..Also it looks interesting to me but boring..Go to lava make some thing go bring a brick and be a mason an build a castle..How long does it take to build a brick lol..Any how just had to bring this up..

Eh. Pointless to me. There are a lot of games that I consider a waste of time, but that one... Well games don't get any more of a waste than Minecraft.

Anyway, has anyone here played on a properly run Bukkit server...THAT IS F***ING AWESOME.

I despise it with all my being.

There is no sprint button. The AK 47 looks like a pickaxe. It's like... SO hard to kill people, the graphics are absolutely horrible, and the maps are bland and uninteresting...

When I played the BeTa, My killstreak came late, even though I killed 3 goats, and I just lost interest when my base blew up because of a stupid green suicide bomber.

Anyways I love it, have endless amounts of fun with friends playing it. Terraria is ok but the building portion is lame compared to Minecraft, once finished it was straight back to Minecraft.

Especially if you throw a dynamite, blow everybody up and say "Oops, wrong weapon ...":lol:

Minecraft is a good game, but it is too much construction oriented with somewhat exploring to do ... and that is not my style, while as Terraria is a little construction and lots of adventuring and always finding something new to entertain you from the new content during most patch releases ... :)
