l was wondering lf l mix A-Data 2x1gb with a 1gb corsair what will happen they are the same speeds.

Anything l should look out for buying them tonight.

Nothing will happen.Works normally.But if you can buy same brand.

Slightly but not noticeable since if you buy the same brand and model then the timing will be the same---> better performance than mixing a bunch of different RAM with different timing.

like mixing battery brands. they're just more apt to work/mesh well together.

mine are wierd, 512mb of corsair, 1 gig of crucial, i dont think they are even same speed, lol. all DDR2 and they work fine for me. (thats two different sticks of crucial)

I have 2 sticks of 512 667 mhz ddr2 RAM, one kingston and one buffalo, works fine.
