Probably a movie running or TV Show.

REAL Question is....why did YOU notice the guy with no shirt on?

It's actually a chick with short hair wearing a pink-ish shirt while ironing. It was the TV show "Episodes".

I would never want to play like that, way too big of a mess and no room for mouse/pad also with so many monitors you are just going to distract yourself

Nope, not a naked man but a clothed woman. I think you were just seeing what you wanted to see.

Still, kudos to IPS panels that you could see an image at all at nearly 90 degrees, particularly in a low res digital photo.

Yeah, 5 monitors is ridiculous but I do like 3 monitor gaming on 2560x1440 27" monitors.

Yeah that would never work for me, I need a large mousepad.

I used to do tri monitor except i realized it was pointless, it's just bad for gaming.

is sort of what I do now that pics more than a year old, but still the same-ish.

new equipment though and i made more room, that was too cramped

I agree, the 3 Monitors is a nice idea for gaming, but you have those black bars in the middle which get in the way. Now something like this I would gladly use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmadaLeHhJc

All of my monitors are mounted on Ergotron monitor arms so I can rearrange them as I need. If I need more desk space, need to run them in portrait or change some other aspect of orientation, etc I can shove them around in 3 dimensions.

I don't agree that 3 monitors is "bad for gaming" because there are lots of different types of games to play (other than high frame per second online FPS titles). It's great in racing games, flight sims, space combat sims, strategy games and many others. There's something to be said for the immersion you get when you sit down to play a game and what you see fills your entire peripheral vision. Plus there's the obvious PC gamer fun of seeing what kind of crazy resolutions you can get to and still be playable.

I looked into this. All of the curved monitors were stupidly expensive and they weren't necessarily great monitors besides the curved multi-display gimick.

The only really good option they have for this today would be a multi-projector setup. You can use three projectors to get an Eyefinity/Nvidia Surround widescreen effect and there are 3rd party utilities that will blend the images together so it's seamless.

If you shop around you can get the projectors for a reasonable amount, but a screen for that would have to be custom built or very $$$.

I have both, but I'd say they each have their advantages/disadvantages (the projector is a Mitsubishi HC5500).
