monitor display trouble

Basically my computer works but when it turns on the monitor goes into sleep mode and refuses to wake up, it can't be the monitor because it worked with another computer so if you have any ideas on what is going on and how to fix it I would appreciate it.

ive got that problem too. My moniter won't go on till windows is fully loaded, or after it has fallen asleep. If my computer goes to sleep i have to restart it to be able to see anything. I have an x850xt on catalyst 6.4 drivers if that makes a difference

May be a setting it could even be a virus, do this go to the control pannel> power options>uncheck the turn of monitor but just put a screen saver.

Oh and it reccomended that you get all the latest drivers ati's newest driver is 7.1 and Nvidia is like 97 or 100 for vista. Get them at ati.com or nvidia.com

i cant even get into windows, the monitor never shows anything.

already did that, monitor works on other computers.

already did that, monitor works on other computers.

Tried reseating the GPU and reinstalling your videodrivers? Can you see something if you boot into safe mode?

as soon as I turn on  the computer it says "Analog Powersaving Mode"  on the screen then goes blank again and goes back to sleep. Never see the windows loading icon or anything like that.
