Monitor help for ps3?

Ok, i need to know if this monitor will work with my ps3. It is a LG L196WTQ-BF and one of the newest greatest monitors in the world. Although it is a 19 inch widescreen monitor, I really like it and it is good enough for me. Please don't tell me that there are other screens i should buy, because i did some research and still loved this one the most. I mean i can't afford more than this. It will cost me $200 at Amazon.com. I ama South African and can't find any reviews on which they tested this monitor with a ps3. I know the LG L194WT worked with the ps3. This is a newer and better model. The specs (if this could help you to tell me) is 2ms response time, HDCP, 3000:1 dynamic contrast, DVI-D and VGA compatible, well a lot more. I know HDCP is important and yes this screen has it. I will buy a DVI to HDMI cable, a good one. I know games won't look too good on this screen, because i would have to downscale it to 720p, but it beats playing on standard definition tv's. Can anyone please help me and tell me if this monitor would work with my ps3, even if you think it is a dum idea playing on a screen like this, i just want to know if it will work, please............
