Even at its worst, I'm still finding satisfaction with World of Warcraft.

WWAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY better then the first. ;)[QUOTE="Chiddaling"][QUOTE="millerlight89"] Going to pick this up today, I heard it is much better than the first.mrbojangles25
YOu know, I am playing through the first game and I can honestly say it is pretty damn good. Very polished.
The only issue is the repetative nature of every single premission.
My friend said they fixed this ,however, and it is much better...is this true?
Alot of people complained about the first game being repetitive, and it is. And the 2nd one fixed that. IMO, the game is far from repetitive. I think you will feel the same way if you play it. :)[QUOTE="flukki"]Does the clan you choose change your playthrough?A patched up Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines!
7 € for 3 walkthroughs till now (Brujah, Toreador and Tremere) - and 3 more to go! What a deal!

Mostly the conversations. But some endings are exclusive for some of the clans, so yeah, the replay value is very high in this game.
To also complete the game with the two most distinctive clans - Malkavian and Nosferatu - is one of my gaming goals for the next few years. :)

I tried the game but it felt meh in combat. I mean it really made you feel like a vampire and all but i found the gameplay kinda meh. I played with guns and it felt like guns were prettty weak. What choices you reccomend making in order to have a more solid experiance? Skill and combat wise? Also since the clan changes the endings, which would you say is the most epic/urban vampire like?I tried the game but it felt meh in combat. This is often considered as one of the major flaws of the game, that ranged weapons playstyle lacks true fps feeling to it. And it is indeed a bit clumsy, yes.

Uff, I am not an expert when it comes to the skills of the game. Combat wise, if you are really feeling that the gunplay-style is not for you, try to melee through the game. I would melee in 3rd person, of course. It is absolutely possible to beat the game with melee weapons only. And it's kinda fun, too (Katana is a gorefest)
Skills, the only advice I could give you, is: Specialize. Although you can make a jack-of-all-trades-character, it is more difficult to succeed with it in the later stages.

As far as I know; the Tremere Clan has all endings possible. So maybe you'll try them. The most difficult clan is the Nosferatu (MUST be a stealth character in "normal" world), so if you are up to a challenge, maybe you'll try them?!
My first walkthrough was with the Brujah, they are also best for melee if I remember correctly...
(Tip: If you don't like the looks of one clan/character, you can simply change the model/textures via file editing)

To at least write something topic related: If someone likes dark, mature RPGs, Vampire is a must-play imho! Like I said, for 7 € (~$10) there is plenty of game for the money. And don't listen to people, who say it's a bug mess: The fan patches available made the game so good, you won't find more bugs/glitches than in any other AAA game today!
Well right now I am playing ghostbusters and the game really makes you feel like a ghostbuster so its a pretty good game overall
Yeah, they did a good work its like a ghostbusters movie. Thats what i like in games, when they get the immersion right. I dont care much for non linear gameplay and graphics.Well right now I am playing ghostbusters and the game really makes you feel like a ghostbuster so its a pretty good game overall

[QUOTE="ChiliDragon"]Hmmm... Jade Empire, actually. :)kevy619I love jade empire, other people seem to think it sucks but I got sucked in like no other game. The trick was that I put it on hard instead of normal. I just liked its setting :P i didnt care much about difficulity.

I actually just beat Crysis Warhead on the third difficulty level, taking my time to appreciate all the details and completing all the secondary objectives. It may have lasted me only 9 hours, but it was a total blast, a real thrill.
