Meh CoD looks fine compared to all other MP games of similar popularity.

Of course it doesn't look as good as Crysis, no other game does.

I think the graphics in MW2 are pretty god actually, also it works well on less powerful systems unlike Bad Company 2.

Whats with all the bashing of CoD4??? Sure, its graphics are not as good as Crysis's, but Crysis runs like **** even if you have a good PC. I always thought CoD4's graphics looked great, and it runs extremely well! Theres much more to a game then pretty graphics.

U cannot say about something that "it is good" or "it does a pretty god job" etc...unless u make a comparison between that "something" and another "something"...

That being said, in this topic some of you said about COD4 & CODmw2 that they are looking good,from the graphics stand...

So following the course logically...How could you say about CODMW2 that looks great from the graphic point of view?It looks good in comparison with what?In comparison with DooM 2?In comparison with QUAKE?...And now we can take a look at the term "STANDARDS" :D

So...Crysis - The Best looking game in the world! Graphics = Awesome!

Metro 2033 - Second best looking game in the world! Graphics = Great!

NFS Shift - Graphics = Good!

Dirt 2 = Graphics = Nice or whateva'!

Now CodMW2...this game graphics are bellow the graphics of the games mentioned above...Now,how come can one say CodMW2 graphics are great or good?Well someone who sayz that, clearly dosent have standards...so is wrong in the first place to have a discussion or an argument with such a person since he dosent know what he's talking about...

You cannot associate CODMW2 with games like Crysis or Metro,regarding the graphics...so logically you cannot say CODMW2 has great graphics...CODMW2 is average @ best in every compartiment: graphics,story,physics,multiplayer,art work,customer support etc,etc...

There's something over the call of duty games which makes them look just fine to me - graphics wise (even though the textures can be abit low-res), we won't see any major breakthrough until we stop using sprites for vegetation but actually model it.

And this thread is about graphics, so instead of insulting someone why don't you just step down and concur that COD games are not advanced in any way technically speaking. They may be fun, and I agree on that, and they may have good atmosphere, which I don't agree with, but that is not part of this discussion.

sorry to say but it did turn into a gfx discussion when you said the COD series has parts with better gfx than metro/crysis. most of this thread is discussion gfx, therefore this thread is mainly a discussion of gfx.
