MW2= Win? RESOLVED, its actually fail

I have just watched a bunch of videos on it, a few trailers and leaked gameplay. I dont see how anyone will think it will be a horrible game! Sure it doesnt have dedicated servers, but that shouldnt really matter. Console gamers have lived with it for long enough and they dont complain. From what i have seen the new MW2 looks amazing. It has good graphics, and if the SP is anything like the origional it will be worth it.

I for one support the new MW2 and ask the haters to actually look at the game before saying it is crap because it doesnt support dedicated servers or lean (which no one used anyway).

The single player isn't going to be long enough to justify spending that much money on it for me. Considering the multiplayer is probably going to be dead even if I did get it, I'm not sure it'll be worth it.

The game will be horrible, anyone who buys this game hates PC gaming as far as I'm concerned. Just go buy the freaking console version if you don't mind that EVERY SINGLE freaking thing that differentiates the PC and console versions is stripped out.

I'm still pissed for buying the original MW, what a rip off the single player campaign was! IMO, Infinity was at their peak with COD2 (I love that game), now they're just riding the money train.

The SP might be ok, but do you really think it's $10 better than the SP of nearly all other PC games? Also, considering it's length will be somewhat equivalent to the previous campaign (MW). I can't see gifting them the extra money for that -- that's only annoying. I had planned on picking up the game around the $40 mark or so.

Console gamers do not know what complaining or (serious) competitive gaming is. They simply accept everything their favourite hardware manufacturer does because they think their friggin machine is the best and need to justify the money wasted for it, while PC gamers directly talk to the companies that screw something up (IW, Epic, some might say Valve with L4D2).

Dedicated server were a MUST for MW. If you think it's not true you probably have never tried to play on a p2p server and on a dedicated server to compare them. Plus the fact that you can't choose where to go AND Infinity Ward trying to justify their ridiculous actions by telling us it was the biggest investment they have done in the PC version, ever.

It's utterly ridiculous to not have dedicated servers. We (including IW) all lose from it.

Think I would get more bang for buck shaking a plastic bottle filled with boiling water. At least that way I only get burnt rather than ****ed.

Hmm, i completely forgot that it binds to the steam account, nonetheless i still want to see for myself how the game plays both offline and on, I'm entitled to my own opinion and do with my money as i want. Plus it's one more game i can play co op with family and friends, which is far more fun than MP with randoms anyway.

Yeah....MW2 is being forced to use Steam which means the PC game is locked to a Steam Account which means you can't resell it or borrow it out.

yes, used game market and offline interpersonal game sharing are what some corporations now aim at. the p2p piracy battle is already lost. they just want to make sure that all legit consumers buy their own copies of the game. the limited install DRM earlier has the same purpose.

let's just see whether more publishers/developers follow suit.

In that Interview the question "Will profiles be saved on a server this time?" asked to which it was responded thanks to Steam they can do that.

Earlier today Gamersgate, Direct 2 Drive and Impulse all refused to sell the game because it has to use Steam.
