MW3 - No Dedicated Servers - Kotaku

I wouldn't be shocked if the PC version still ends up with dedicated servers. The no-dedicated servers comment was probably in response to a lot of console players complaining about the poor hit detection in Black Ops, and now they are demanding dedicated servers themselves.

on the flipside, If I had a greedy hand into this game, I would keep dedi's off of COD too... it's sad that success led to neglecting an entire community.

Battlefield 3 was already looking ten times better than Modern Warfare 3. This is just the nail in the coffin.

I think there is this IW guy who confirmed that the leaked info was false and he confrimed that there wont be stopping power pro, or one man army, or commando, or tactical nuke. So, i am skeptical about the whole "no dedicated servers" Its too early to tell, but as far as i am concerned, its better that way. MW2 was less laggy than black ops despite not having dedis. Also i dont want to see what i saw in cod 4, overpopulated maps filled with pro mod crap. I want the actual game not modded crap.dakan45

Better than the abused dedis in cod4 with moded gameplay and overpopulated maps. Also black ops had dedis and... yeah, id rather to be like mw2. Its too early to tell though, pc features are 90% of the time subject to change till the last month of development, sometimes even days.dakan45

....no. IWNet ruined CoD PC. Anyone still playing CoD on PC is crazy. Serious players moved on, hence hackers everywhere, no way to police them..... It is useless trying to play any kind of serious game on IWNet, with such latency, host drops, errors etcetcetcetc. You spend more time in the stupid lobby than actually playing. Not to mention the party system is broken, making clan matches stupidly hard to organize. IMO the game is unplayable on IWNet. RandomGSer

Sure, IWNet had it's issues....but comfortable wise it was great....if they can fix the lag/hackers/admin tools then I'm all for it.
