Alright guys,
My comp's scrooed up with a virus called W32.Trats!inf. i got Norton360. 360 detects the virus everytime i switch on my comp and apparently "fixes" it. The same thing happens again and again.
Computer's become HELL slow and takes forever to boot up.

WHAT TO DO?????(pulling hair)

I ain't tech savvy(Infact, I don't even know if i'm posting this in the right place)

Kind help'd be appreciated.

Thanks.

PS I apologize in advance if this ain't the place where this is s'posed to be posted(frustrated old guy).

Try using this first: http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/index.php

If that doesent sort it out download Avast Home Edition, Ad-Aware SE & Spybot Search and Destroy!

If all those dont work come back to us! :D

Hmm format your pc and then install a decent anti-virus product:

Avast or AVG are good enough, if your willing to throw money at it try: F-secure, Kaspersky.

I believe that if you get a virus, you are doing the wrong things on your PC. Don't download things that you don't know what they are, don't go to sites that you don't know (or try Mcafee site adviser, seems like a good enough firefox plug-in). All the experts I hear on the radio say that the only way to be sure you have fully fixed your system is to format and restart it... and it shouldn't be a big deal since all your documents should be backed up. On one of my PCs that I have been using for about 2 yrs, spybot has never found anything, and AVG has never given me one found infection... what do you guys do..?

Edit: If you must see your pr0n, install a linux partition or something.
