You got onboard graphics=bad for games, If you are on a budget get a Geforce 7300gt or higher I recomend the 7600 gt, The 7300gt is ok It will run FEAR on medium some settings on high at 1024x768, HL2 maxed out, Its only 70 dollars it will allow to play most newer games on medium settings.

The 7300GT is for movies. I suggest you punch out another $30 and get the 7600GT.

Well Ive seen the 7300 gt in action and its a little better than a normal geforce 6600, so it can game. But yeah a 7600gs or 7600 gt would be the better choice, but a budget is a budget.

yep, you bought a prebuild computer, probably from dell or hp or some other company. What they all do is say its amazing and give you the processor specs, amount of ram and the size of the hard drive, topping it off with "teh amazing" vista. Learn this lesson, build it yourself, NEXTIME.

If you buy a pre-built computer you most likely won't be getting the latest hardware unless you shell out 1000+ Integrated GPUs are good for very old games. I think you even need a seperate graphics card just to run Vista.

No dont upgrade with manufacturer they will make you pay 2x more than you have too + might give something worst than a 7300gt, if you do make sure its a 7300 gt at least for gaming.

If you bought a PC without knowing a thing about them, and / or finding out what you need to know, then you frankly got what you deserved.

$70 for a 7300GT? You can easily get a 7600GT for $99.
