hi all,

i have a realtek ac97 sound card, it was running perfect untill 1 day i woke up i found that its somehow has an echo in the sound that it produces, i checked for the karaoke option but its turned off, but it seems like its effect is still on, what am i supposed 2 do? any1 had this problem b4? by the way yesterday i was watching a dvd and used the dolby quiet enviroment option and low freqency audio option in powerdvd. it was running fine, after that i played music normally. today i came back 2 my pc and i found that the sound is horrible. any ideas guys.

Thanks in Advance.

He already has, uninstall all your sound card drivers and then go to the device manager, and select your soundcard and uninstall it:> restart.

Uninstall the drivers, use a driver cleaner and reinstall the drivers.

Uninstall the drivers, use a driver cleaner and reinstall the drivers.

If that does not work, then it's probably a hardware fault.
