Finaly, after months of saving money I can buy a new pc.

this is the pc I'm planning on buying

-Thermaltake armor jr

- ASUS P5N32 SLI premium

-INTEL E6600 C2D   with zalman 9500 cooler

-2048mb DDR2 PC800 corsair memory

-BEQUIET 550W PSU

- Geforce 8800GTX 768mb

I posted this  here to ask if anyone could tell me if this is a good build or has some suggestions about changing it.                  (I'm still not sure bout the case and mainboard)

the mobo has a really old chipset.

I'd recommend that you just buy a 680i motherboard

NorthBridge - 650 and southbride 570 i..... The rest of it is 680i with all the feautes of a 680i including 3x PCI x16. Do not listen to 35353222 , whatever his name is and buy that motherboard as it has also received wide spread reviews which are all, very, very excellent.

Ok You should first get a 600W OCZ PSU instead go with the 6420 instead of the 6600 because its cheaper and you still have the 4mb l2 cache and also its more OC'able An get the ASUS P965 WIFIAP its the best oc mobo And go with the Antec P182 Its A nice Case.

thanks for all the info guys i made some changes and price stayed the same by going for a intel 6420 instead of 6600.  changed the PSU to a ENERMAX 620W 20+4 LIBERTY

I'm still having trouble finding a mainboard, is this one any good "asus p5b-plus vista edition"

i like the changes you have made, its going to be a solid pc.  oh and dont listen to that guy that said get a p180, everything else he said was good but dont let someone tell you what case to get.  that is what makes your build mainly unique, becasue thats what everyone sees
