Ok, well for Christmas I got a second 6870.. and today I just got my new motherboard GA-890GPA-UD3H. So, before I loaded my drivers for the cards I reformatted my hard drive, because my motherboard was having driver problems... But, long storyshot I got eveything working exept my second 6870, but on GPU-Z it shows my second one.. So, can someone help me solve this plz?

In the past, CCC has done some weird things like not showing info that is suppose to be there. Check in your device manager to see if it's displaying both GPUs.

Yup it shows I have 2 6870s. So, does that mean I'm clear and they work?

Yep, and what are you going to run with all that fire power? There is no need at this point IMO except for wasting money

You jelly? Sure there are games that will require that much power to run smoothly. 6870 CF is not overkill, it's about just right for 1080p.

Agreed. Even with my Sli GTX 460 1GB setup, I know it might be overkill for some games, but it helps with the minimum frame rates. I don't like it when the fps dips way too much in fps online games so it's nice to have that "overkill" setup. Nowdays, overkill is underrated... but then again, you gotta know when to stop and be smart with your money.
