-Download gpu-z and tell me what the Bus interface is, it should be x16.
-Remove the catalyst drivers, reboot, use Driver Sweeper to remove the leftover drivers. Install 8.7.
-Borrow your friend's card and try it on your pc.

It could be a defective card.

I have GPU-Z and the bus interface is 2.0 pci express x16 i also tried removed the drivers with driver sweeper and installed 8.7 again but without luck.. I have tried his card in my pc earlier and it was runnig bout the same no difference... So then we could be sure that it must be something with some settings i have wrong in the bios or maybe in windows?

Hard to say what the problem is. Run Memtest to check your RAM.

And maybe update your motherboard's bios.
I would try 0703.

Did you install the chipset drivers ?

9.0.0.1009 under Chipset, choose your OS:

I play CoD4 at 1680x1050 with everything maxed and it doesn't usually go below 40 fps. The average is probably around 80.

What settings and resolution are you playing with?

EDIT: Just read first post again. From what I've heard (my HD 4850 has yet to arrive), you should be getting much better frames. Are you sure you aren't running with AA enabled? Or perhaps you're running with VSync but you didn't enable Triple Buffering?

That just spins down your hard drives or standbys your computer when you're not using it, and won't have any effect on gaming.

Looks like hard disk activity delays. If your hard disk cache is set too small or you got it set to auto. That could cause problems. Also from device manager if you can check and make sure that your hard disk is operating in UDMA 5 or 6.

you running on high or very high? On high at that resolution you aren't far off, you probably won't see much more than high 20's to low 30's on high at that resolution.

Ahhhh... let me see now.... Right click on MyComputer, Properties, Advanced, Performance/Settings, Advanced, Virtual Memory/Change. Select Custom Size then set figure to 4092 for initial and 4092 for maximum. Hope this helps you. Other things can be viruses doing **** in the background. Do full system scan, if you havent done already.

I just installed windows for a few days ago so i dont think it helps to reformating... But i set the cach size and i ran a becnhmark the GPu benchamrk in crysis DX10 64 bit very high, no aa, 1440x900 and i was getting an avg of 22.78 in the second run does this sounds normal? I still think i can get a bit more if all the things are loaded and not just pop up when i walk... I can walk and then a meter in fornt of me is justing comming a stone... and then the fps drops because it should load and that happens again again again and again... What could that be? Thx for all the answers they have been very usefull

Someone mentioned caching, now that you say there's pop up that bad then the problem could definitely be the hard drive. I don't really know what steps to take to fix the problem. Have you bought your computer/parts recently?

from the video I suspect either unusual harddrive activity or failure. Try swapping in your friends harddrive and see what happens ( since you said he has the same system, you should not need to reinstall windows on it )

Which is to ask, is the computer/hard drive under warranty?
