I just installed windows for a few days ago so i dont think it helps to reformating... But i set the cach size and i ran a becnhmark the GPu benchamrk in crysis DX10 64 bit very high, no aa, 1440x900 and i was getting an avg of 22.78 in the second run does this sounds normal? I still think i can get a bit more if all the things are loaded and not just pop up when i walk... I can walk and then a meter in fornt of me is justing comming a stone... and then the fps drops because it should load and that happens again again again and again... What could that be? Thx for all the answers they have been very usefull

Hmm I get 20FPS Vista 32bit DX10 ALL VERY HIGH 1680x1050, so that seems low.
i have to ask you and promise that you dont lie in the second mission called reckoning in the part where you have to rescue the hostages how many fps do you get as avg all on high and the res you are using and then tell me the drops what is the lowest because mi fps goes very low in that part of the mission im down on 15 fps in a very long time would you do that for me?

Okay give me a few minutes I will try it at 1440x900 all high.
Actually Noobzter. Maybe nothing is wrong. On my PC, when I come to new terrain, it stops for a sec until new terrain/model data is loaded. After that, for that particular area, it runs smooth until I move on to a new area, then it pauses again till I come to again some new area, most noticeable when driving a jeep. I dont know about other ppls experience though, but maybe Crysis with current hardware might not be able to run smooth all the way through..... Do any other games exhibit this behaviour?

Alright I just played about five minutes of that level, My FPS in battle were 15-20, and when not 20-30.
15 was the lowest I saw and it never stayed that low for more then a second or two.
BUT even more interesting, I was played in windowed mode so I was able to watch my RAM usage. It was at 94-97% the whole time!
can it be a problem that i dont have 2 partitions i only have 1 partion... should i make 2 partions on 320 gb?

No that's not the problem. Run the Crysis benchmark tool benchmark_gpu all high no AA in DX9 at 1440x900. I'll compare your results with mine.
Hey again i just installed xp on my pc and i see no difference in performance its still running bad and today i hd my card in my friends pc and it ran nicely 48 FPS in bechmark all high no aa 1280x1024 and its alot better than it runs in mine so its not my GFX its not windows fault not the processor not the ram blocks dunno about the harddrive... i do think that it is something in the bios but i dont know what maybe something with the data transmission in the mmotherboard i dunno i just want to solve the problem it pissed off because its a hole new system and my friends 8600 GTS is running better than mine and im sure that there is something in the bios and if you was there you would have said ooooh thats easy this should be on that one and then it runs better like it should... What can i DO?
