To answer your question, yes it is worth getting N. Especially if the signal has to travel through multiple walls or floors, N is more powerful and can penetrate farther plus its faster. Just be wary that the Computers, gaming consoles, and other wireless devices are N capable or else they wont benift from a N connection.

I guess I didn't phrase my question well enough but that is my fault I shouldn't be up this late. Anyways I was asking about the speed of the N routers I have seen some with 150mbps some products call it pre-n and then there is the 300mbps routers I was wondering if it was worth it to get a 300mbps over a 150mbps router?

that number is only good if you ahve an internet connection from your ISP that can do that speed.

a router only send traffic where you want it to go that 300mbps or w/e on the router box is only good up until you hit your real internet connection. at which point your ISP takes over and your at their mercy for speeds. the above beign said it WOULD have an effect on intranet connectons (same network) transactions like say lan gaming or sending data to and from form 2 machines.. or the networking of a printer.

edit: if your internet if you have a connection that runs equal to or n exess of 300mbps or w/e it could match it then and improve speed but its not exactly "necissary"

Pretty sure it isn't over 300mbps but I can tell it is being limited by the 54mbps of the g router as I can get faster download speeds going directly to the source rather then through the wireless so I guess it would be okay to go for the 150mbps.
