Need a good first person / tactical shooter!

Looking for a good first person/ tactical shooter to play

uhh my laptop isnt really for high end gaming but i think i need a better cpu

i'm thinking of a core 2 duo 1.66 Ghz but would that run games such as battlefield 2?

ive got a gig of sdram and a geforce go7300 turbo cache

Any suggestions on either upgrading my cpu or games that i could run easily?

It says 1.7Ghz as min requirement but i was wondering if the fact that its dual core makes a difference?
