Okay I found two possible headsets... the first one seems good but it doesn't have a mic... and I can barely find any info on the second one. Which is better? I'm kind of leaning towards the first one as I don't use my current headset's mic that much as it is... although i don't see any mention anywhere of it being a surround sound headset, whereas the second one does. Thoughts?

The first ones (Sony Hi-Fi) are my music headphones. They can go extremely loud, and when you're wearing them you can't hear around you. Also, the bass is unbelievable, no joke. I definitely recommend them. The only downfall is no mic.

Awesome, I think I'm going to go with those, but I'm just curious if you happen to know if it's surround? :o

You'd be way better off buying some decent quality music headphones, and then buying a separate mic. You can get a mic from newegg for like 10 bucks or less, and if you spent the remaining 90 on a solid pair if entry-level audiophile headphones, you'd be very very happy.

I threw out the package so I wouldn't be able to tell you. But from personal in game experince I can tell where a person is running around me (front, back, left, right). So that'd be surround right?

Yeah that sounds like it has surround. :)

But I'm not so sure about that set anymore... I'm thinking about getting the Logitech Precision Gaming Headset now because I heard the sound quality is great too, but it also has a mic. :o

Audio Technica makes AMAZING headphones. Google audio cubes. Good store that has them. Go under Audiophile / hi-fi. http://www.audiocubes.com/category/Headphones_Audiophile,+Hifi.html is the link actually lol.
