I actually dislike my PC gaming brethren for the opposite reason lol. The ones blinded by nostalgia give us a bad name, the ones that want to halt progress and say that prior games are better simply because theyre more difficult to play, are slower paced, and more.
Look, I get it. Deus Ex is my favorite game of all time. But I dont expect everyone, especially younger gamers/gamers that missed out on it to enjoy it. If you sat me down, and I had never played the original Deus Ex, and let me play three hours of the original, and three hours of the new (Human Revolution), I would without a doubt say that the new one is the superior game. And, for all practical reasons, it is: quicker to get into, better voice acting, good plot, better gameplay. The original is still prefered by me, but I am not so ignorant to proclaim it is the better game.
I can't go back to Morrowind. Why? Because compared to Skyrim, its a pain in the ass to play, takes up too much time and gives too little reward, and it is dated.
Outside of nostalgia, there is little to no reason to go back and replay Morrowind.

You've got a serious case of egocentrism. Just an observation, not a insult. If you choose to ignore (like i know you will, probably chuckle and brush it off aswell), it's cool. I mean, f*ck. I've seen you write these missinformed and self-centered posts about people's preferance of old games for a wile now, and there were probably other people that called you on that aswell.
Though you should, instead, grasp on the common fact that the defining aspects of a game that did not age well are hindering elements that are more intrusive then they were back then thanks to modern advancements, such as the framerate, the graphics and the controls. And in this context enjoyment is tied to the leniency of the person playing, which is subjective.. Everything els (like gameplay changes) is solely subjective, and kind of irrelevant.
