Hey all u hardware junkies out there - My bro has a 9800GTX Graphics card and not enough power to push it. He's not the most advanced user, so I don't think he'll be going overboard on peripherals.

What or Which PSU do you all recommend for around the $100.00 range. I'm a huge fan of Newegg.com, so if you would'nt mind a referrance to this site.

Thanks all...

I recommend either an Antec or Corsair PSU because they are both very reliable. If you get 500-600w you should be safe.

Is that your Enermax or your brothers?
If it is your Bros, it should power a 9800GTX no problem.

My choice for ~$100-
$99(w/ $20MIR) Corsair TX650

Yeah I strongly recomend Corsair, I used to think ABS made the best power supplies but when i saw the amps on the 12v rails on the Corsairs... man they won me over for sure. Not to mention they are extremely reliable and over all great power supplies.

even for the price u specified, the TX650W has 52amps on the 12v and its $99.99
