Not sure if this is the correct place or not but it seems like it is.

I am about to buy a new laptop but I ain't sure which one is better

Option A at $1,879

intel core i7 2820qm 2.3GHz

500 GB harddrive

8GB dual channel ddr3 at 1600MHz

3.0GB DDR3 nvidia geforce GT 555M

Option B at $1,390

intel core i7 2630qm 2.0GHz

750 GB harddrive

8GB ddr3 at 1333MHz (can upgrade to 16GB)

nvidia GTX 460m with 1.5GB gddr5 vram

Option B seems better with a better graphics card and bigger harddrive but option a has a better processor and ram since I really don't want to upgrade the ram of option B even though it may be better.

Few questions. Ae you going to game on it with new games? Also, do you plan on bringing it to class, or just making it a stationary one? What is your price range? I have seen better laptops for cheaper. I'm assuming you are in the US right?

I was planning on playing a few new games on it. I was also planning on bringing it to some of my classes. My price range is about $2,000 I can go over that price some, and yes I live in the US.

Cheaper, and better gpu(gtx 560) http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8130-clevo-p151hm1-p-2973.html I have one Very nice machine ,amazing lcd, I got the 95% color gamut matte display. I paid about 1200$ for it, I sold the cpu in it for 170$ (2630qm) and bought a 2720qm engineering sample for the same price. The 2720 ES has more cache than the retail 2720 and uses less voltage, I am digging it.
