I really need help here everyone. I used to have this really cool game but I can't remember the name... it was either for Windows 95, 98, ME, or NT and I'm pretty sure the name started with an L. In it, you were piloting a ship from the pilot's perspective. You had to destroy other merchant ships and take their cargo (and I think weapons and money too) and I think you could also get salvage metal from their ships to upgrade yours or buy a new ship. And when I say ships I don't mean like big spaceships, I mean smallish ships, this game took place on a planet... I think it might have been earth, and it might have been after a drought or something because I'm pretty sure in the game you had to collect water or something too. And to recharge your ship you had to fly under these light generators. That's about all I remember though... anyone know??

It sounds like a Gremlin game called "Hardwar" you can see a video of it here :-

The only thing that throws me is the "recharging under light generators" I seem to recall that was a feature of "starglider" and "starglider 2".
