Definetely get the armor. My brother has that case and it is great. The airflow is very good. You won't have a problem with overheating.

Given your price range I'd be shopping Lian-Li or Silverstone, but that's your call. Some people prefer flashy cases with lots of plastic.

And I'd scrap the Q6600 upgrade in favor of another 2GB of RAM (neither is hugely useful in games, but at least load times seem to be significantly impacted by more RAM).

If your 8800GTX didn't explode in the case, what makes you think anything else will? :D

I would suggest getting the Rocketfish Case off eBay. It's a full-tower LIAN-LI that they were selling at Best Buy before they discontinued it. It went on clearance and I was lucky enough to snatch one for $50, and I couldn't be happier. Even after shipping, that's a great deal off eBay.

I have an armor and it's very good with superb build quality but there are a few problems: very heavy, no dust filter on the side fan, paint scratches off easily, only get 1 HDD cage with it and can't use the back one.

The antec 1200 has my vote, it's lighter than the armor and has a great HDD capacity also good air flow.

Cases come down to personal preference, but if you are looking into those, I would also check out the ThermalTake Armor, the original not the new "plus" one.

IMHO, the new armor case is not as good as the older one, but like I said before this comes down to preference.

Looks come down to the user, as I think the original looks a lot better. The plus looks cheesy IMHO.

For water cooling, I really think the original is better, at least if you want you loop inside the case. The original Armor, has 11 5.25 drive bays, while the Armor plus only has 7, then they have a separate compartment for the HD's turned sideways. That would mess up how I have my water loop set up, I have mine standing up in the bottom 6 5.25 bays. To use the Armor + the same way I would have to cut out the bottom of the 5.25 bay area.

Also I prefer how the PSU sits sideways in the top of the original Armor, allowing for an extra 3 slot HD cage. Without that, my case would be a mess. I might would be able to make due with the extra drive bays on the bottom of the +, but I really like the original design here.

I am not big on the side intake fans, on the original or the new plus. I am sure it helps in some cases, but not in mine.

For me the only advantage the plus has over the original is the removable motherboard tray.

But like I said before, case come down to personal preference, that is why I said he should just check it out.

They say 10 drive bays on newegg, because the top one has the power button on it, but it can be removed if needed to. Look at the pictures on Newegg, it will show 11 removable panels, the top one with power buttons and LEDs.

What do you mean " not 7. you are messung up with MX+ for medium btw" That makes no sense to me.

But like I said, there is no "Best" case. It depends on what you want to do with it, and what appeals to you.

If MNO then i recomend looking at the high end Zalman and Lian Li cases, also look for cases at performancepc.com frozencpu.com, and xoxide.com (the ones near the top when you google pc cases) they tend to organize the cases better and offer you cool pc mods etc

You need to proof read your post before posting them, they make very little sense.

I still don't understand what you are trying to say. But I am not talking about any mid-tower case, Just the Armor and the Armor+, both full tower.

I was also looking at the antec 900 but seeing as it is a mid size tower I'am not sure if it would hold 2 8800gtx's among the other stuff i want to add, but i have heared it is the best cooling case.

Dude you are worrying way too much over cooling, air is air....if you got a $1000 case with 1 big fan it would cool just as good as a $60 case with 1 big fan, air is air. Dont think you need an expensive case, actually dont think you NEED an antec 900. Just get what looks good to you and has at least 1 120mm intake and exhaust fan!

LOL ok thanks. My 8800 has just been running really hot so i had to take the side panel off my case and stick a small desk fan right next to it, to bring the temp down.
I just didnt want to have that same problem iam also going to the the artic cooling accelero for my cards.

This is the case i have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119106
