Need help with a $500 budget prebuilt gaming PC

I want to upgrade from my current PC which is very slow and can barely even play games like TF2 without lagging every few seconds. I'd like to keep it at about $500, without going over by much. I'm not looking for a huge powerhouse PC or anything, but I like to be able to play games like Garry's Mod at high settings, and have medium-low setting on games like BF4 and Arma 3 with a stable 60fps or higher.

It is $509, but there are many different reviews about it. Some say that it can run BF4 on medium-high setting very well and other say that it struggles to play at low.

I'm all about the budget gaming experience. For a mere $399.99 I'm enjoying Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag in 2K at 60 fps and BF also 60 fps at 2K resolutions. People overvalue what's important in a computer. As long as its an Intel CPU you will be gold to run, well just about anything! I have been rocking these specs for 3.5 years and I've been able to play almost anything I want at 60 fps guaranteed. I highly recommend a laptop for gaming, as they give you the most bang for your buck in terms of less power consumption to keep those energy bills down while producing incredible HD visual effects. I am a big fan of Acer products as you get an incredible rig for only $399 with full 1 year parts and labour warranty. If you go the so called 'enthusiast' PC route you'll be looking at spending hundreds more on parts and faith that the tech guru knows his stuff which they often do not.

You won't be able to play games in ultimate settings but you'll run most games in minimum high settings to your hearts content. Gaming rigs are now the cheap laptops. Embrace the disposable economy. You will also be impressed with the value you get out of a $399 Acer, I've had one for 3.5 years thinking it would only last 1-3 years tops, it doesn't look to be dying yet. If it does, its a blessing, for only another $399 you'll get Windows 9 pre-installed etc by the time its out. This would cost the so called 'enthusiasts' $200 anyways and that's about $798 for 6-10 years with two major hardware/software upgrades in the lifespan vs a one time 'good gaming rig' for $798. Lets see how that rig will look running W7 or W8 in 2024 fellows ;)
