I own this game called NASCAR Racing 2003 Season developed by Papyrus. Hardcore racing fans should know it as it's the only decent NASCAR racer available. Sadly, no newer versions have been released as the company who created the game shut down a few years ago.

My question is this: Are there any updates, mods, etc that I can install to update the cars, paint jobs, tracks etc? I would really like to be able to drive the new "Car of Tomorrow". Any good websites to download such mods? How can I install them?

It's a shame really since I think Nascar is probably the largest racing genre in the world??? I hate those fictional racers like NFS and Juiced. Come on devs, bring us a new Nascar sim!!!

simbin is your best bet; they make some good realistic racers. but they're european, so they may not go for any of the american stuff like nascar and indy.

If you really want to know anything about Nascar 2003 posting here will not get you answers. This is a sim and most people here are just gamers. Yes there are many new mods out there including 2 for COT. I don't have the links here as I am at work. The community is still alive even though Sierra closed down the lobby. Also you should check in to the new ARCA sim racing just released by The Sim Factory. This game is the new sim for the racing community and puts Nascar 2003 to shame. It was just released on March 1st and is only available by mail order. The community is growing quickly and leagues are already forming. But I will repeat, this is a sim and not for the casual gamer. they will find it too difficult. I hope this helps.

There is toms of stuff for N2003. Take it from me, I think I have most of it LOL. Unlike "_Racing" where you PAY 19.99 for the service, then Each track cost extra as well - usually $20-$25. (EACH) Quoted from an "_racer "If you bought all the added content to date you'd be spending over $500 easily" So stick to the guns, 2010 is just around the corner. Catch y'all on RLMarena soon.
