Need me some Battlefield 2 advice

Before I go on about my topic I'll state that I am not a pirate I just need the best solution to getting this thing to work. I have a copy of BF2 with a real cd key and everything. The problem is I lost the first disk(I have the cd version). My friend lent me his disk so I can intall it and use my serial key which at this point everything is working perfectly fine. The problem is he wants his disk back so he can use it which leaves me with no way of booting the game. I can use a no cd crack, but I'm 100% sure that Punkbuster will kick me within a few minutes for doing so. Is there anyway I can play this without my first disk? Pics for proof available upon request. Thanks a lot my fellow pc gamers.

I don't think so. I think it only cares about using mods/hacks, so if your serial key is correct, it shouldn't matter.

get bootable mini image , i dont know if its legal but i use it all the time ^^ (google it , just look out for viruses )

since old games require you to boot cd and those cds dont last for ever ...

but i believe that bf2 should have a work around , try searching at battlefield2 website for some info .

BF2 doesnt need the disc to play anymore, not since the last patch. Unless my patch has stuffed up somehow and its letting me play without the disc in the drive. o_O
