I just got a new laptop and im just wondering what kind of games it could handle. I'm not a graphic whore so I dont mind the fact that it cant play current gen games. Just lookin for some classics since i've never been a pc gamer.

Specs:

Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor T2310 @ 1.46ghz

1GB (512x2) DDR2-533 SDRAM

Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelarator X3100

VideoRAM 251MB

Oh and yes i have vista =S

Heres the link to what i have http://www.clearanceclub.com/products/8959-VAIO-VGN-NR120E-S

nothing new...but old games it should play....

start out with the blizzard games (Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo)

than the classic RPG's (Fallout, Baulders gate, planetscape...etc)

than the classic FPS's (Dues Ex, System shock 2, Half life...etc)

I'm more then sure you can handle games Like Half Life 2, CS source, World of Warcraft and many more. The only drawback I see on your system is Vista. I highly recommend 2gigs bud.

great list!!!

as for newer games, you may be able to pull off no one lives forever 2? but maybe not... maybe even half-life 2 on low? but i'm not vouching for them, so... you'll have to look at the minimum system requirements for these games. they're a bit vague, so you'll have to find some info on your graphics card (basically, whether or not it's dx7 or higher) and see if it matches the requirements. i would stick to that list though. some have pretty decent graphics and they're great games - that i'll vouch for! :)

for hl2, you can check with http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest
