Maybe up the graphics card a bit, 3870 is good but its getting on now and wont last right long, price difference usually isnt too much between that and 4850 so save a little more and get a 4850 would be good suggestion.

PSU is probably overkill. I would go with a 4850 or 4830 if you can. Also, what's the pricing on the monitor and motherboard?

Looks good to me man. I don't think the power supply is overkill. I say keep it incase you expand things later; more headroom. As far as the video card, you could get something better for around the same price. But then again, you can ALWAYS do that. if you can, I say a geforce 9800 series gpu, radeon 4850 or 4870(mine and its unbelievable). Everything else looks cool.

Thanks a bunch for the help guys.

I was planning on getting a 4850, but tried to cheapen it up a bit.

Does it matter what brand I get for the card?

The price on the monitor is 149.99 and the Keyboard is 39.99

Just to let you guys know, I'm trying to build this thing under $1,000.00, tax and shipping included.

In my experience, brand never mattered TOO much imo. However, BFG has been good to me, as well as EVGA and XFX.

Edited above message, and saw someone commented underneath.

I am looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127359 for the 4850.
