I'm going to build a computer for the first time with the help of my friends, so I was wondering if these specs are good

your chosen specs are nice. I like everything I saw but what hard drives are you going to use? And what are you going to use the PC for? Other then that unless you are going for overclocking then that PC will be good.

Everything looks pretty good, but I would get a better quality of PSU.  Antec, Enermax or SeaSonic.  If you plan to OC then I would add a heatsink cooler(cpu cooler).  Arctic Freezer Pro 7 is an inexpensive and easy to install one, just be sure to be gentle with it during installation.

I think the case is corny, but that's just opinion. Also, like someone one theseforums once said, "avoid rosewill like the plague" when it comes to psus. You need an hard disk drive and a dvd-rom drive or are you reusing old ones?

You cant OC too well on Intel boards im pretty sure

Good budget PSU brands I'd recommend are FSP group, E-Power, and Xclio

I'm gonna reuse my old hard drive

And I'm not planning to overclock, so I don't think I'll need a cooler

What power supply would you recommend instead of the rosewill one?

This one is a good ratio between quality and cost:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194003

For a single 8800GTS, this XCLIO Goodpower 500W would work just fine.

However, I'd suggest grabbing the OCZ StealthXStream 600W. A very good quality PSU, it'll easily handle dual 8800GTS cards. :)
