Hello everyone! I'm interested in buying a new computer with the following specifications:

Specifications of the pc to buy

I'm not that good with computer specifications and stuff so I would like to hear your opinions about how long will it last, how good can it play games (like Crysis on Very High or any other Resolution) and stuff like that. Also if something could be better on the above list, please say it so I can edit my list and I won't waste my money on something that will not be good.

ANY, and I repeat, ANY comment is really appreciated, please share your opinion.

Thanks in advance, cleanthis26

You left out motherboard and PSU. CPU and hard drives are good. If you can, upgrade to DDR2-800 ram. And drop the two 88800 GTS, they're not worth it. If you really want a dual GPU setup, go with two 8800 GTs.

Nice looking rig,but I would get faster RAM (800MHZ) and forget about the 8800gts 320mb with or without SLI,because if you want to play games like Crysis,COD4,GEOW or games in the future on high at decent res then that card isn't really worth it any more IMO.

well the config does look neat however what is the price of this rig ?

apart from that i wouldn't really go for the sli 8800gts cause its a bit old now. 8800gt is a lot better and costs almost similar to 8800gts. And apart from that if you are going for that kind of ram why not take a step further and go for 2 x 2gb ddr 2 ram. it will be worth the upgrade and will not cost you a hell lot.

This pc will definitely allow you to play latest games ATLEAst on high. About the pc's life... well as ive already said in so many threads, "whats best today is average in 2 years and a piece of junk in 4years...." so there you go. Cause the technology is advancing very fast. PC's normally double in performance in every 2-3 years (especially video cards) so if you are looking for a future proof machine.. cut down on all the tempting products and go for a performance machine, and the money you saved u can use it later to upgrade your pc
