ok let me start off saying im not very good with computer but i need some incite on whats wrong... my dad recently built for a me a new computer that i would love if it was for not the constant freezing... the computer freezes in what seems random spots, but never when im just surfing the web or leeting it sit idle. it freezes when im playing a game, installing something, opening a file, or even sometimes at boot when the vista logo appears. there is no error message or sound, the screen just freezes. im not sure whats going on, it was only built 2 days ago, but beggan freezing when i first started playing on it... ive done memcheck, ive checked all temps, checked for hdd errors, but all are clean

when i first noticed the crash all i had installed on the computer was microsoft office, fraps (which came with the GPU), and FarCry 2. i want to play my new pc badly... please help
