i have a 128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8300GS graphics card. I currently am playing Neverwinter Nights 2 and i would like to play with 1680x1050 res and decent graphics settings but i cant because its too laggy, what would be a good card that i can upgrade to without buying a new comp?

if you just want neverwinter nights at full im pretty sure you could go with an 8600gt it would work fine. and its about 100 bucks but for right now the best investment in a video card would be any of the 8800 series.

No, the 2900Pro offers better performance for the same money. It will need a beefy power supply, however.

Neverwinter Nights 2 is a poorly optimised game. You would need something like a 8800GTS or 2900Pro/XT to run it at full, I believe.

I'm not sure if the 8600GT will be able to handle that res in NWN2. Anyone know of any benchies?
