Yea i have the Geforce 9500GS so the Power supply probably can run it and i dunno if i can put ATI cards into my computer plus the HD 4850 is way more expensive the ones im looking at cost about 140$ and 199$ while the HD is 219$ghost_shelly
I almost guarranty that it can't.
Are you from some place outside of the United States? Those quotes don't reflect current prices here.
How do you know my Power supply can handle it and i can only get a PS from Futureshop so what else should i look for?
Yea i have the Geforce 9500GS so the Power supply probably can run it ghost_shellyUm no the 9500GS is way below lowend so chances are high that you DON"T have a good enough powersupply
Amps or Volts? Plus my budget is like 200$ -360$ so i dunnoghost_shellyI highly recommend NCIX.com. I also suggest an ati radeon 4850. Right now a 9800gtx+ is $200 at FS, a 4850 is $175 on ncix with similar performance. Also you probably need a new psu, don't cheap out on a psu it can kill all your other components.
Well i have 350W and i may just buy the evga 8800GT or the HD 4850 but also when buying a powersupply all these cards run on 450W should i buy a 500W PSU or a 450PSU or will more like overload my computer??ghost_shellyThere's no possible way a powersupply will use more watts then needed so if you have a 500w on a system that need 400w, it will just use 400w. Your powersupply will not be enough since I doubt it has a 6pin connector or enough amps. When buying a powersupply please don't cheap out on it. I see so many people go to bestbuy and buy cheap knock of brands just to save money.
Ok so what PSU should i buy ? My computer can go to 450W max so can i buy a 500W psu and use it? Or will it like crash or somethingghost_shellyYour computer doesn't have any limits on watts so I don't know what your trying to say ? Your video card and the rest of your system might only use maybe 300-350w but it doesn't mean you can only buy a powersupply with that amount of watts. If you buy a powersupply that has more watts than required it will simply only use as much as needed..... For example if you buy a 500w it will simply only use 300-350 of its totally 500w which is actually a good thing because it come close to using max wattage which can lead to ripple(loud noises) or less life of your powersupply.
As for what powersupply to get it depends on where your going to be buying the powersupply from ?
I may just look At NCIX for the graphics card which should be the ATI 4850HD ? And the 500 W power supplyghost_shelly

Damn the Palit HD4850 for 150$ is sold out. There's a pretty good deal on the Corsair 550VX power supply at 55$ after MIR. Be quick or it will be sold out.
