Hello there , I've had a 24" Acer H243HX monitor for about two years now and I've been using it for both my PC and my PS3 and  I've been thinking of upgrading to a 27" LED monitor with better colors and performance , i want the new monitor also for my new PS4 setup , I can spend 300-550$ . I need a 27" LED monitor thats looks sleek and has great picture and colors . Any suggestions ?Thanks in advance .

also , what do you guyzs think of these ?

Asus 27 inch

Samsung 27 inch 3D

your suggestions are welcome

Have you looked for 2560x1440 montiors? You can probably get one in your budget.

I'm not sure about those , the new monitor will be used mainly for Ps4 and 1080p PC gaming ( I have a GTX 580) so i think 1080p will be suitable for me .

I'd say go with that ASUS. I'd strongly recommend looking into the 1440p monitors but you need something for the PS3/4. You'll also have the headphone output with that ASUS monitor and I think you'll be able to use your 598s with your consoles that are plugged in via HDMI. Might want to ask ASUS about that first though.

Like most numbers attached to monitors, it means very little.

Anything below 30ms is fine for gaming.

I have the samsung. it is amazing. blazing fast no input lag great buy. although i believe its cheaper than i got mine for  ($800) USD

Amazing image quality. No motion blur. it looks like a CRT. 120hz cant go wrong.

Although I wish I had a 1440p IPS and overclocked it to 120hz

You guys could do what I did, go to a thrift store and google the model numbers of CRTs until you find a monitor meant for graphics artists. 2560x1600x85hz.
