Hel Ya I'm living with my parents till i build a $8000 computer also!!=)kingme02

I would recommend it HIGHLY due to interest rates skyrockin lol I heard they plan to increase again in June or July also you get breakfast, lunch & dinner made for you lol but I do help my mum alot, shes the best

it has its ups & downs however since im orignially from Croatia, if know anything about my ppl you will know usually the son stays with his parents in the same house until the end of time to take care of them & soo on, I quote "usually" doesnt mean I will but its like that with some of my cousins usully the daugther will move out with her husband & son on lol bla bla anyways

i know what you mean, i know a few countries (including mine) that follow this tradition. families are not that important in usa, uk etc where ppl put their parents in "elder care places" where oftenly they get abused... so dont expect ppl to understand. have fun with your new rig, it will be awesome. i easily spend that kind of money to "toys" :D my rig cost me about 2.5$ but my home theatre system about 10k$. btw, dont get any of these cars, wait for a good hybrid as oil prices will just go up and up as peak oil event is very close.

- ASUS bluray rom it can read CD,DVD,BD but can only burn CD or DVD which is fine for me since Im going to get HDMI cable to connect my PC to my "46" LCD TV 1920x1080 which is about 5m away from my computer so I can watch BluRay movies.

there it is thats about all my new parts comming in I will have a youtube video & benchmarks since I got like 100 computer games everything from GOW,Crysis,COD 4, UT3, Supreme Commander just check out my profile to see my complete up to date list of PC games I have Im also waiting for Assasins Creed & Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to come in since I placed a preorder.

Also I made a mistake when I bought the E8400 but since it was soo cheap I didnt bother canceling my order thanks to ebay, I will see which one will be better then sell the other one on ebay.

Lastly Im not rich Im only 20 years old but I have a permeant job so I just like computers its my hobby however I was going to get 790i with 4GB DDR3 1.8GHz however I decided not to maybe next build this year will be DDR3 for sure also I didnt want to get QX9650 since QX9770 will be out fairly soon & I might get that instead.

Why spend 6,000-8,000$ on computer parts that are unnecessary and then have the computer only be worth a small fraction of that in a year? Very bad investment unless your very rich.

To the guy who said Vista is bad its actually not & ALL my old programs worked without tweaking even games like starcraft installed without a hitch even on my 64 bit machine im using now anyways guys I included a single picture soo you see what Im working with, enjoy :) notice how cables are soo nice & neat I spent like 3-4 hours on cables alone but this is the best that I can do & yer Im using my tuniq tower 120 atm but I plan to put my swiftech water kit after I have abit of fun with the computer I cant be bothered now.

BTW I ordered the thermalright ultra 120 extreme with a scythe fan so that should come next week probably tomorrow on monday or tuesday at the latest I want to see how good it really is & also in the new rig I got my Q6600 which isnt dead like I said before it works I was wrong but I do have my E8400 lying around also waiting for my Q9450 to come by end of the month lol.

It's an Australian term, someone hasn't come out of there house for the past 40 years to see the vast culture of Australia obviously....

And in my personal opinion, using such large amounts of cash on something like a PC it's totally unacceptable. In relation to the mention of sponsering a child, was using the term "sponser a child" to give you a idea of how to spend your money in a positive and useful manner. To be able to aid the world in a productive and positive manner means that tommorow will always be a better and brighter day for you and the ones you are helping. And if you were wondering, I already am sponsering a child.

If you feel so emotional about somebody expressing there thoughts and ideas, you really do need to grow up. Report me if it makes you happy, but the term "bloody hell" is Australian tradition and is used greatly in day to day talk.

Whether you actually do have a problem, or your just overcompenstating for something, try to keep in mind that there are people not only in Africa, but all around the world, who would consider food and shelter a luxery.

hey guys i apperciate your comments & to aswear the guy who asked bout why I didnt get 10000RPM HDD's aka the RAPTORS its casue its a waste of money & this are ancient hard drives they cost arm & leg for 150GB with SATA-1.5 & like 8mb cache, I have Vista X64 installed now on two 500GB HDD's inRAID0 so I have 1000GB or 1TB storage plus I paid MUCH less for this setup then for a single RAPTOR also this are SATA-3.0 with 32mb cache & are based on the newiest Seagate 7200.11 generation drives which beat RAPTOR in every test except for access times just look up some reviews plus I bought an extra 500GB for more storgare so I have 1.5TB for the prize of 1 raptor I get more storage plus performance aswell.

ANYWAYS guys I finally built the computer took me few days to install Vista cause I ran into problems with the memory however Im still sorting out the kinks but its heaps fast I tell ya,I wont post anymore pictures since they dont do the PC justice I will upload video to youtube hopefully today or tomorrow
