ok i saved up a bunch of money for a new computer.well lets just say i got so much,that money isnt an issue,so...anyone got any recommendations for a good pc for basically everything, i kinda want one that can play blu ray movies, or can be upgraded to support a blu ray player.gaming features would be awesome too,also im going into college next year too so school features as well. also recommendations for a monitor would be great.im going to b buying it from either best buy or fry's electronics.thanx for the tips guys :D

this would be better in the hardware forums. you might get better responses there. If I was you I would try to study up as much as I could and build my own. Start by checking out the PC Gamer PC Building Bible. It gives great advice. As far as a monitor Samsung makes some great ones that are very highly rated and not too expensive. I have a 22" lcd from them. If you want to go a little bit better you could go for an IZ3D 22" monitor that is 3D capable.

This is better suited to the PC Hardware forum, but you should really give an idea of how much you are willing to spend. Saying money isn't an issue is one thing, but then there are PCs that cost stupid amounts. So what is your price limit? $1000? more? less?
