I just oredered my new pc parts off of newegg! im so excited! what do you think? The new C2D E6850!! 4gb xms2 ddr2 800 ram, 250gb sata 3.0gb/s seagate, thermaltake tsunami, 550w rosewill psu, evga 680i mobo, and the new 8600gts! i got the 8600gts because thats all i need for now until the 8900's come out. what do u think of my rig? lol how do u think it will feel for me upgrading from a 2.4ghz p4, 1gb pc2100 ram, and a 6800gt lol! what kind of fps should i be expecting in counter-strike source with this baby lol!

Quite the beefy rig you got there. Everyone will tell you that the 8600GTS isn't worth it, but hey at least your DX10 ready. I say that because I believe there are some 7xxx series cards that are more powerful than that one, but like I said you'll be fine.

Nice rig, that computer will destroy Counter-Strike Source, I'm guessing 80-100 fps maxed, maybe more (I get an average of 220, according to the in-game test). You'll enjoy that rig, especially once Nvidia releases their new cards.
