I am still having this shritty microstuttering when looking around and strafing, but not when just going linear. Some recommended vsync off; I did. Smooth mouse off; I did. Disable Xfire; I did. Nothing works. Now, this seems to be happeninv at random locations.

I do use that, but I didn't use their sky textures.

which is funny because i slapped it on my game and didnt notice the dip at all. I normally dont run fps counters while playing, this thread made me fire it up out of curiosity. I know my ENB for GTA REALLY kills the fps, skyrim wasnt so bad

New patch, 1080p, Max setting, no ini tweaks, 2k HD textures a few other mods, 60fp/s constant, with a few dips once in a while.

Here is on top of whiterun:

from 290.36? I may have to give those drivers a try, im getting good performance, although I have done some tweaks to improve the draw distance so Ive probably lost a few frames. Need to measure it in fraps.

Thanks. No ENB, but I do have FXAA injector 2.1, 2K HD textures, NPC HD clothing, Enhanced Night. No drop in performance at all. I am going to add blur and better water effects later today, along with tree shadow enabled. Other misc. mods included in there are better blood, visible ore, CBBE non nude, better male&female faces. As you can see with the screen shots I included fraps fp/s. Whiterun dips to 45-50, at that infamous spot and the framerate is capped at 60fp/s, so I don't know what the max is now but it's irrelevant IMO as long as frames hover over or 60fp/s.

Since my last post, I have increased the draw distance by adding the "ugridstoload=7" line in the ini file. Ive also installed the enhanced sky mod and realistic water mod. The game is looking great now. I did some recording with fraps and the lowest frame-rate now is 34fps, at the top of Whiterun. Im thinking of installing the HD texture mod. This just wouldnt be possible without the patch I dont think, at least not for me.

Nearly doubled my fps in most parts of markarth.

Using an i7-950@stock and a radeon 5970.

CCC 12.1 seems to be completely broken as it's causing a slew of graphical anomalies in skyrim, and I can't force AA now either. :(

I noticed an FPS increase with the patch, it's actually pretty noticeable. However, I have a question about all of your mods. I went and tried all the FXAA injectors and a couple ENB versions and no matter what I changed the settings to, the text was unreadable and the game was so dark it was ridiculous. Also sharpness was a huge issue on some of the presets, it was either far too sharp or a blurry mess. Upping the brightness did nothing because all it did was ruin the picture even more. I didn't take any performance decrease, at least not a large one so my computer can run these mods however I cannot figure out how to set them up properly.

If you guys frequent system wars, someone posted a skyrim graphics king thread, and I was blown away by the screenshots. I tried some of the mods in that thread and it made the game look terrible. Any help? Thanks.

Here is a tip. Remember what you installed. 2k HD texture also installs water textures, and clutter and some furniture. I also would recommend HD Sun & Glare, HD NPC textures, Flora overhaul, and enable water HDR reflections, and tree shadows found in Skyrim ini file (google it).

I dumped a bunch of mods into skyrim too. But I also optimized the textures since a lot of modders didn't compress them correctly. And I dropped the res on them to a lower version for most textures. Most are 1024 some are 2048 and very few are 4096. Some textures don't need to be very high res. While others like foliage definitely needed it so I scaled based on that. It totaled in at around 3.3 gigs for the folder of mods. I compressed the files into a RAR file archive which includes all the mods with ENB series custom based on Cinematic ENB MOD. In RAR format I got the file size down to around 2 gigs. I scaled the mod to still run fine on 1 gig of vRAM and I even included my own .ini file which already increases draw distance of trees and grass greatly and changes the ugrid to 7 with some other tweaks in it as well. There is a READ ME included for installation instructions too. If anyone wants the package I had to split it into 3 parts to fit it on Rapidshare. Part 1 https://rapidshare.com/files/663152196/Skyrim_Mod_Pack.part1.rar Part 2 https://rapidshare.com/files/3729262839/Skyrim_Mod_Pack.part2.rar Part 3 https://rapidshare.com/files/4089700277/Skyrim_Mod_Pack.part3.rar

[QUOTE="RyviusARC"]I dump a bunch of mods into skyrim too. Wow! Awesome effort. Would you be so kind to post a few screenshots of your modded Skyrim?

I'll take some when I get home in about an hour.
