I am looking to buy a new system and i am looking at this one. will it run the latest games? i play FPS mostly.

Yes it will, but you are paying top price for it. If you assembled the parts yourself you would save a LOT of money.

You might want to consider getting a second harddrive for storage. The one included is likely a Velociraptor with very fast speeds, but limited capacity.

thank you for the opinions! i am not up on the latest pc specs, i stopped following the tech after the pent 4. i believe it is time i do upgrade.

It'll play anything you throw at it at least nearly maxed. The price is horrendous though, you could build a MUCH more powerful Pc by yourself with even better parts. With that kind of budget you could do some amazing things.

Building one yourself you can get a machine that has the same performace ( or better ) for around 1k $ less

How can you builld a MUCH more powerful PC than that, it has dual 9800GX2's, (med) quad core and 4 gigs of high qualty ram.
