New Video card Old Processor?

I plan on replacing my 7900gt(which is defective) with an 8600gts soon. I have an AMD 3800+ 2.41 Ghz processor and 2gigs of RAM. Is my Processor good enough to handle this upgrade?

First I'll answer your Q. Yes it is.

Next , if you can squeeze out just a bit more cash get a HD3850. or a 8800GT perfect time for oe of those.

But if you cant , the 8600gts is good.

Yes. 3850 is alot better than an 8600 for around the same price.

Not going to say anything except get the 3850 definitly instead the gts if you can go for it
