[QUOTE="koza_76"] [QUOTE="MTBare"]That probably means it's not going to be very diablo-lore-like. My guess it's "similar" to the amazon class, but more closely resembles the WoW hunter (guns).Lach0121
I agree with you. I hope it'll be something similar. Why not ponder some classes we would like?
Monk - have some auras with fighting style like the amazon
Fallen Paladin - No auras but made up with more skilled attacks, and some mystic powers.
Thief - Setting up traps, some martial arts, throwing daggers, satchel charges.
Anything new would be great.
A lot of people were upset not having the Necro back. I listened to a podcast where the developers said because the Necro was so perfect in D2 it would be hard to improve on him in D3. So changing the skills, and augmenting to some extent would loose the essence of the Necro to a point where he would feel so different in D3. Or they could be making a real good excuse not to have him in.
hmm lets see... fallen paladin... like a dark jedi... meaning dark paladin? i like the idea actually... kinda like a melee-spell class, but with a dark aura, and not all this light side crap... i really like the idea dark/fallen paladin.
Dark paladin = Deathguard/Death Knight/ SHadow Knight.. If the paladin is a 3rd cleric/priest and 2 3rds warrior.. The "dark paladin" is undoubtly deals the exact opposite, 3rd necromancer/dark opposite of cleric/priest and 2 3rds warrior..
We had a monk in the second one too, the assassin.. Though her martial arts tree sucked and never improved over going traps.
Yeah that REALLY sucks about the necromancer.. I was hooked on Diablo 2 again a few months back.. Was playing my beloved Necromancer, skelemancer.. Could solo uber tristrem in like 8 minutes.. Was so fun.
