[QUOTE="Lidve"] Description from Diablo 2:
The Paladin is a member of religious warriors fighting for the glory of light and all that is good.fatshodan
Okay. And? So? The dark paladin is the evil counterpart of the paladin. Where the paladin is a religious warrior fighting on the side of light for all that is good, the dark paladin is a religious warrior fighting for the side of dark and all that is evil. It's a well established cIass. Where the paladin is typically a warrior-cleric hybrid, the dark paladin is often a warrior-necromancer hybrid.
No,with little math DARK+PALADIN (member of religious warriors fighting for the glory of light and all that is good)
= dark member of religious warriors fighting for the glory of light and all that is good = CONTRADICTION
In fact, now that I think about it, WarCraft 3's death knight is literally a dark paladin. Check the blurb in the link for a Blizzard-written definition.
No, Dark Knight character WAS paladin but he is not anymore,now he is dark KNIGHT not dark PALADIN
Blizzard uses lot of D&D rules in their games,warcraft 3 actualy used dices/rolls to calculate damageLidve
Sure, but Blizzard chooses which rules to use and how to use them. D&D is more like a guide than a rulebook. Blizzard could go ahead and make any cIass they wanted, regardless of D&D because, as I said, D&D rules apply only to D&D. If Blizzard adopts D&D rules, they become Blizzard rules, not D&D rules, and Blizzard is free to alter them any way they like.
Funny thing is that Paladin in Diablo 2 was "DARK" (skin colour,black)
