nTune can have some compatibility issues as I  found out with my laptop, so I use SysTool instead for my lappy, but I use nTune for my desktop though.

Argh, its a terrible software it put my pci e bus to 9000mhz and would keep going on forever, people at evga call it nturd for reasons it sucks meh balls, use your bios to overclock.

I've had a few stability issues when overclocking my system with ntune, and got better results just doing it in bios. You've also got to make sure your mobo is compatible with it, if you are going to use it to oc your system. I've read some motherboard companies that customize their bios don't work with ntune. (Also make sure you have a Nvidia chipset.) Just remember, take it slow. You can also use it to OC just that nice new 8800gtx you've got. Great card. You can also use Rivatuner to OC the gtx.

ntune is awful and pointless, all the features that you'd expect to be there are all disabled by nvidia for some weird reason. use rivatuner instead, it's far better.

I've tried it and didn't like it. The automatic tuner was too slow for me and after uninstalling it I started getting some error messages and had to install it again to get rid of them. I rather do video card overclocking manually via nvidia control panel and other clocking via bios.

I downloaded the lastest version of Ntune, which isV 5.05.54.00, and when I was running any of the 3 programs it includes, i had a blue screen of death. So I wanted this deleted ASAP. But the software is a pain to uninstall! You cannot find it in the uninstall list of Windows Control Pannel and doing it by deleting the folders of ntune is not an option because this software is modifying windows registers and anyway it will still run in background... I tried CCleaner and it didn't work either.

Just use Uninstall Tool (http://download.cnet.com/Uninstall-Tool/3000-2094_4-10662647.html) and it should work perfectly!

I know this post isn't about how to delete Ntune, but I saw that a lot of people don't know how to uninstall it so I decided to share my solution just in case.

This post is also from 2007, so no one really cares. Good job, bro.
