I happen to like nVidia. Got quite a bit of nVidia hardware in my PC: graphics card, motherboard chipset, network card, and network bus enumerator.

I also like that they have an excellent response to support questions, and I've never encountered any driver-related problems.

I'll also say that even though I like nVidia, I don't see the point of busting ATI's chops. They make good products as well.

ati if only to support the underdog to increase competitition, lower prices and ensure better consumer results. If nvidia was the underdog I'd probably buy their products. I've also liked ati since my 9700pro

Nvidia's driver support is just too good. ATI has a year lag in terms of their newer devices. Which speaking of, the 295x has been very nice. Doesn't consome much power either.

I have an ATI card in my machine because Nvidia didn't make the card that I needed plus ATI is cheaper.

I use both, I got a 4890 on my main PC and a 9800 GTX+ on the other rand 7300 GT on a general use PC. Both are great brands, and neither should die.

ATI is the price:performance king. I've used products from both brands, but i've always been more impressed by ATI especially for the price. I've never had an issue with the drivers either.

My current gfx HD4850 is my first ATi product. I am satified with it and it's driver support under vista x64. At least on my pc it is working flawlessly. voted for ATi.

Ive used both brands through the years..i do have a soft spot for ATI, but at the end of the day i go for whichever has the best performance to price ratio at the time.Despite what brand it ends up being.

If ATI would get some physx, I might go back to them, but if no more games use it, I won't bother with Nvidia

Which game even use Physx?Shadowhawk000

Just off the top of my head - Unreal Tournament 3 and Mirror's Edge. There are surely more, with more games on the way.

To what broken_bass_bin said, add Dark Sector, plus Cryostasis has been updated for Phys-X (patches for those who already have it).

UT3 supports PhysX only in 2 or 3 maps and that too just for some snowy effect. The story's same for Mirror's Edge as it shows some elements in more depth(Like breaking glass).

Didn't vote...for me it's down to whoever has the cheapest cards/best performance at the time I am shopping. Both companies have good products.

Hmm... i think you are quite wrong about Mirror's Edge if u actually compared PhysX enabled and disabled. Here is a comparison video hope you guys like it.Video not by me =D and credits to the person that posted it.

So what? It just has a few extra elements that break magnificently, it still doesn't make me buy a nVidia card just for that.

Both are fine, I just look for the biggest bang for the buck.. As it stands though you really can't be disapointed from what you are buying from either company.. Especially for once when hardware demands are actually lagging behind hardware advancement.. I mean Crysis going a year and a half is still king of the graphics and its the most demanding game.. That I think its quite unheard of especially in this age.

This is PC Games, not PC Hardware.
