Hello, I am interested in overclocking my processor but I have absolutely no idea how to. I have a pentium 4 2.8 ghz processor on a socket 478 motherboard. (533 fsb) Its this one to be exact. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116215 I was hoping to at least get it to about 3ghz or just a bit more. Is there a how to guide or something (or someone) that can help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit : Oh, my Power Supply Is an Allied 500w and my video card is a 7800 GS [AGP]

A whole 200mhz isnt going to do much for you. And if you have stock cooling, which I assume you do, its already running pretty warn I'm guessing. Lets just say you're not going to see a dramatic increase in performance. And being a beginner, I wouldn't start with an old P4 unless you have a backup and are not worried about possibly frying some components.
