I should be able to play this on medium/low. Now the question is, should I get it for the PC, with those graphical settings, or get it for my 360, but miss out on mods and superior controls?

On the 360, you will get all the visuals maxed out, but you will have no DX10 visuals. The controls won't be THAT BAD. The MODs, meh. Why download a bunch of buggy games made by users?

Depends on weather you prefer KB\M or controller. I can't stand playing with a controller, but thats just me (its eather too slow or fast) Mods will take six months-a year to mature, but once that happens, it adds tens of hours of playtime I would wait 'till the release, and see how well optimised it is, etc. Anyway, I should be able to run this on medium\low, but its one of the games that I will be upgrading to an X2900\8800GTS for :).

Most of the time recommended specs aren't nearly enough to run the game maxed out smoothly.yellonet

Agreed. My old system went above and beyond the "recommended" requirements for Oblivion, but the game still didn't run all that well in outdoor environments with the settings turned way up. Hell, I still get stuttering with an 8800 GTX, 2 gigs of RAM, & an AMD Athlon X2 4800+.

True, though Oblivion is such a system hog because it has massive outdoor environments with loads of detail for everything in it. Bioshock will be held indoors (though it will have its own set of interior environments, gardens, etc), but I don't it will guzzle resources more than Oblivion.

As for the recommended system specs, I surpass the specs, though I don't expect to max everything out.

Good point. I wish they had three types of system specs for these games: Minimum, Recommended, & something like High End Recommendations.

Sorry that won't work. You need a Geforce 6x00/ Radeon X1x00card or better.
