Have a look at this:
The official minimum system requirements for Far Cry 2 are as follows:
- 3.2GHz Pentium 4 or 2.66GHz Pentium D (looks like it takes advantage of multi-threading)
- 1GB of RAM
- 256MB GeForce 6800-series GPU or Radeon X1650
The game also requires Shader Model 3, so it won't work with ATI's older X800 GPUs. By comparison, the minimum specs officially required for Crysis are a 2.8GHz Pentium 4 and a Radeon 9800 Pro. However, a machine based on those specs would be reduced to a gibbering wreck by Crysis at anything approaching half-decent settings.
Meanwhile, the recommended system requirements for Far Cry 2 are as follows:
- Core 2 Duo or Athlon 64 X2 5200+
- 2GB of RAM
- 512MB GeForce 8600 GTS or Radeon X1900
