Offline Co-op games?

me and my bro wanna play some offline co-op games (that would be on the same comp.) we got controllers and all. any ways wat games would u recommend for co-op (preferrebly FPS and not sports)

The only single computer co-op game I own is Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.

Some of the older games support it, like the NFS series. You want FPS.. gets a bit harder then. Try out some of the older FPS games and you might get lucky.. there are none i can think of off the top of my head and i've been playing FPS since Wolf3D, Doom, BlakeStone.. been through them all.. Rise of the Triad, Duke3D, Hexen etc etc.

Your best bet is to setup two PC's over a LAN and play that way, as you could play Half Life Sven Coop mod (which is co-op) and sever other games in co-op mode. Although playing FPS on the same computer doesn't really work, since you need the mouse to aim..

I agree with Rattlesnake_8.. I personnally never heard of a FPS game on PC that had split screen.. So your best bet would be to get a second computer and play LAN. With the older games, another computer wouldn't cost you that much.

how bout any other type of games? besides racing and sports...btw is rainbow six vegas or chaos theory co-op offline?

almost all ea sports game have 2 player on the same pc, me and my dad play nba all the time on my pc
