i own a console and was considering buying more games for my laptop (saves getting an xbox jst for boishock).

the problem is i dont know whether my laptop ispowerful enough.

ive got a £800 MEDIONwith as much ram as i could buy from pc world (alot).

umm what?You need to specify everything from RAM to CPU speed and video card.

Start>Run>Type 'dxdiag' and tell us how much memory you have (system tab), processor (system tab) and video card (display tab).

P.S. laptops aren't made for gaming.

I would second that; I havn't heard good things about running Bioshock specifically on any laptop. If it did, it probably wouldn't run that great.

I have the same processor on my laptop... it can't even play Doom3.... so no.. Bioshock will not run

Runs perfect on my desktop though.. :)

Plus, you dont want to play Bioshock on some laptop...you need to play it either on the 360..or on a PC with a 19inch preferrably, and some good ass speakers. What a game!

When you go to display, name should be the first thing on the list.

You should rather buy your games on Xbox.

some are but most aren't geared for gaming. As for the TC i'd say very likely it will not be powerful enough as medion isn't all that great.

U should really only play pc games if u know about your hardware u dont wanna buy games and find out u cant play them

Yes, some games play just fine. The only problem for me is that you can buy a desktop for the same price that runs all games flawlessly.

Yes, some games play just fine. The only problem for me is that you can buy a desktop for the same price that runs all games flawlessly.

Thus my tower. The laptop is primarily for work, but I want to run some games on the road well enough for me.
